The current timetable*

2007

• Council consultation with stakeholders on the preparation of the development brief
• Council consultation and public exhibition on the shortlisted schemes

2008

• KSD appointed as the Council's Development Partner following feedback from the public and stakeholders
• KSD and Council consultation with stakeholders and residents on the principles of the development throughout 2008

2009

• October: KSD and Council three day public exhibition and consultation exercise on designs for the new public square– Scape Design Associates appointed following feedback from the public and the expert design panel

2010

• June: presentation of final proposals to residents and stakeholders and a three day public exhibition to show the public the final designs
• October: submission of planning application to the Council
• November 2010 to January 2011: the Council carries out its own statutory consultation exercise and technical work on the planning application*

2011

• August: amendments to the application submitted to the Council

2013

• If planning permission is granted, work starts on site*
